This is an original artwork, not a print. Every feather, highlight, and subtle color transition was carefully built through countless layers of pastel pencil to create depth and realism. A note on handling: I don't apply a fixative or sealant to my pastel work. Sealants dull the color and flatten the surface, and I would rather the piece stay as it came off the board. That does mean the surface stays fragile. Keep it framed, and don't touch the artwork itself, because pastel will smear if it's handled.
