Description
The goliath frog is the largest frog on Earth, growing bigger than some house cats, and yet it's completely silent. It has no vocal sac. Instead of croaking for mates, males move heavy stones to build nursery pools along riverbanks, which is a remarkable amount of construction work for a frog. I drew this one in fine liner ink, letting the texture of the skin carry the piece.

Fine art print of my original pen and ink drawing, 8x10, printed with pigment black ink on heavyweight matte paper with a smooth finish. Each print is signed and numbered by hand. Once the numbered edition sells out, it closes.
