Zebra Eye • Hand Drawn Limited Edition Giclee Print • 8x10

I keep coming back to eyes. There's something about getting one right that makes the whole animal feel present, and the zebra was one of my favorites to work on. Most people don't realize every zebra's stripe pattern is unique, like a fingerprint. Foals memorize their mother's pattern within days of being born and can pick her out of the whole herd by sight.

This print is a high quality reproduction of my original pastel pencil drawing, made by Paul Duda Gallery here in Ohio. The heavyweight archival paper holds onto the texture and soft shading of the pastel, which is the part I care most about getting right.

Print details:
Giclée print with archival pigment inks on acid-free museum-grade paper, 300gsm, rated for 100+ years of fade resistance. The image is 8x10 with a 1 inch white border, so the full sheet is 10x12, which makes matting and framing easy. Each print is signed and numbered by hand, and the edition closes once the numbered prints are gone. The sample photo shows the artist proof, which isn't part of the numbered edition.

Ships flat in protective packaging with tracking. Frame not included.
