Tiger Eye • Hand Drawn Limited Edition Print • 8x10
Description
A tiger's eyes are set forward like ours, which is part of why their gaze feels so direct. Most cats have round pupils that widen for night hunting, but tigers do much of their hunting at dawn and dusk, so their eyes are built for low light without giving up daytime sharpness. Getting the amber tones layered right took longer than I'd like to admit, but that focused look was worth chasing.
This print is a high quality reproduction of my original pastel pencil study, made by Paul Duda Gallery here in Ohio. The heavyweight archival paper keeps the fine fur detail and soft shading of the original.
Print details:
Giclée print with archival pigment inks on acid-free museum-grade paper, 300gsm, rated for 100+ years of fade resistance. The image is 8x10 with a 1 inch white border, so the full sheet is 10x12 for easy matting and framing. Each print is signed and numbered by hand. Once the numbered edition sells out, it closes. The sample photo shows the artist proof, which isn't part of the numbered edition.
To keep the amber tones vivid over the years, hang it out of direct sunlight. Ships flat in protective packaging with tracking. Frame not included.
