Squid eyes are strange and wonderful. Some species have eyes proportionally among the largest in the animal kingdom, built to catch the faintest light in deep water. Drawing one meant working with colors you don't often get to use together, and I enjoyed every layer of it.
This print is a high quality reproduction of my original pastel pencil study, made by Paul Duda Gallery here in Ohio. The heavyweight archival paper preserves the soft shading and detail of the original.
Print details:
Giclée print with archival pigment inks on acid-free museum-grade paper, 300gsm, rated for 100+ years of fade resistance. The image is 8x10 with a 1 inch white border, so the full sheet is 10x12 for easy matting and framing. Each print is signed and numbered by hand. Once the numbered edition sells out, it closes.
Ships flat in protective packaging with tracking. Frame not included.
