Description

Male Jackson's chameleons grow three real horns and use them to spar with rivals, gently shoving each other off branches rather than fighting. Between those horns, the independently swivelling eyes and the scales that shift with mood and temperature, this was one of the most entertaining subjects I've drawn. I worked in pastel pencil to build up the texture of all those tiny scales.
