Description

Giraffes have some of the largest eyes of any land mammal, with thick lashes that work like built-in sun shades out on the savanna. That heavy-lidded look is what pulled me into this one. I drew it in pastel pencil, spending most of the time on the lashes and the soft gradients around the eye.
