Description
The Dalmatian pelican is the largest pelican in the world, with a wingspan that can pass eleven feet, yet somehow it still manages to look a little disheveled. That silvery, curly head plumage is what drew me in. I drew this one in pastel pencil, building up the feathers layer by layer until the bird felt like it had some personality.
